The integrated just-in-time supply of trade establishments is guaranteed.

In Germany, our core country, we act as a link between commerce and industry in order to ensure the nationwide supply of commercial enterprise. Consistently high quality of service is guaranteed through reliable processes. Goods are picked up on a daily basis at pre-defined addresses at a specific time. In addition, we also assume services such as order management or returns management.

Our dense transport network, in-depth knowledge of the market, as well as the use of state-of-the-art technology provide the best foundation for customized and professional service. The complex organization with numerous customers requires a lot of coordination. For this reason, a group of contact persons at DACHSER headquarters, which was established solely for retail logistics, takes care of them and coordinates them with the integrated branch locations.

DACHSER retail logistics offers:

  • European and international procurement logistics for packaged food assortments from a single source across a dense network of locations
  • Greater flexibility and productivity through partial outsourcing (e. g. warehousing and incoming goods functions, store delivery, returns processing)
  • Reducing the service chain, reduction of ramp contacts and acceleration of incoming goods processing through consolidating categories of goods (sellers consolidation, buyers consolidation, cross docking)
  • High availability of goods and reduction of inventories via deliveries made every weekday
  • Standardization through electronic data interchange and creation of transport labels in accordance with NVE /SSCC
  • Transparency thanks to seamless, barcode-supported processes (Track & Trace, traceability)
  • Reliability through well-coordinated workflows, dedicated contact persons
  • Highly reliable delivery even during four-day weeks, at seasonal peak times and during promotional campaigns through proactive planning (loading space and personnel capacities, time windows, such as early-, night and Saturday delivery)
  • Food safety ensured by batch tracking and strict hygiene management (HACCP Certification)
