Further strikes at Spanish ports

The union of Spanish dockworkers announced another round of strike to protest for a recent government reform which will allow terminal operators to hire non-union workers.

The strike will be held from 14 June, 8 am to 16 June, 8 am and at odd hours on 19, 21 and 23 June.

At DACHSER, we will ensure your shipments do not go to the affected port of Algeciras. If you have any concerns, you are welcome to talk to your local DACHSER representative to assure the information.

Far East – Europe

Towards end of June, space is still tight. It is estimated that the situation will be more challenging in July. Please expect higher rates for your booking.

Far East - South America East Coast

Most vessels are heavily booked, rates will increase from mid of June. We recommend you to make your bookings as early as possible to secure space.
