Press Releases

DACHSER, one of world's leading logistics providers, has been consistently strengthening its position in the United States and other countries of North and South America. The company also develops services related to import from and export to that region from various parts of the world, including Poland.
Effective immediately, DACHSER becomes majority shareholder of its partner in Ireland, Johnston Logistics Ltd. This allows DACHSER to expand and strengthen its logistics network in northwestern Europe.
DACHSER continued to grow in fiscal year 2016, generating consolidated gross revenue of around 5.71 billion euros—representing a consolidated revenue increase of 1.7 percent on the previous year. The number of shipments rose by 2.4 percent to 80.0 million, and tonnage by 2.4 percent to 38.2 million metric tons. This growth was driven by European overland transport as well as food logistics.
In May, DACHSER, one of the largest logistics operators in the world, starts a direct line from Stryków via Sosnowiec to Padua. This service in both directions will be operated five times a week on all working days.

More than 20,000 is the number of shipments transported in Poland in 2016 by DACHSER logistics provider for tesa tape Sp. z o.o., one of the leading manufacturers of adhesive tapes and systemic self-adhesive solutions. Logistic service for such a client as tesa tape Sp. z o.o. is complex due to a wide range of products, diversity of customers, special requirements of some customers, as well as extensive reporting.
DACHSER, one of the world’s leading logistics providers, has extended its operations in Poland to include logistics services for the chemical industry. A new national team, headed by Ewelina Staszewska, will provide services within DACHSER Chem-Logistics, the aim of which is to ensure the highest standards of safety and protection during transport and storage of dangerous goods. Polish experts will use the relevant know-how and experience of the network. DACHSER group transports over 3.5 million hazardous goods shipments each year which are monitored by 181 certified Dangerous Goods Safety Advisers (DGSA).
DACHSER Poland once again participates in the “Two Hours for the Family” campaign, conducted and popularised in Poland by the Humanites Foundation. Therefore, on 15 May, i.e. on the International Day of Families, DACHSER encourages its employees to reduce their work time by two hours and spend them with their closest relatives. If it is not possible for operational reasons, the employees can allocate two hours for that purpose at some other time, agreed with their superior.
In roughly four years, DACHSER has integrated its Iberian subsidiary Azkar Group into its European road network. The overland transport organizations will operate under the names of DACHSER Spain and DACHSER Portugal in the future. This was announced today by CEO Bernhard Simon, COO Road Logistics Michael Schilling, and Juan Antonio Quintana, Managing Director European Logistics Iberia, at the transport logistic trade fair in Munich.
