Mr. Müller, what’s the state of air and sea freight at DACHSER?
Pallets and other packaging materials are key players in logistics, but demands on the exchange system are becoming more and more complex. In its rigorous pursuit of quality, DACHSER is committed to offering packing-aid exchange as a value-added service.
Right now, the whole world is looking anxiously to London. The members of the House of Commons will be deciding on the Brexit deal negotiated by the UK government and the EU. There is no telling which way the parliament’s decision will go. But whatever the outcome, DACHSER is prepared.
DACHSER Emission-Free Delivery makes deliveries of groupage shipments in central Stuttgart sustainable. DACHSER’s innovation project for zero-emissions groupage deliveries in central Stuttgart has won a federal award for sustainable urban logistics in Germany. Svenja Schulze, German federal environment minister, presented the award to Stefan Hohm, Corporate Director Corporate Solutions, Research & Development, in Berlin.

Following the expansion of truck tolls to include highways in July 2018, the German government has now decided to increase tolls for trucks of all classes, effective January 1, 2019.
