DACHSER to expand Shenzhen office as demand grows for air, sea and supply chain services

DACHSER is responding to growing demand for air, sea, rail and contract logistics in Shenzhen by moving its office to new premises with 30 percent more space in the dynamic South China city.
Shenzhen office is expanding to accommodate expected growth in business across South China.

One of the main drivers for growth is the company’s focus on delivering integrated supply chain solutions for its customers through DACHSER Interlocking.

“Expanding our Shenzhen office is primarily to accommodate expected growth in our overall business across South China. We are seeing increases in demand for airfreight, ocean, contract logistics and in the longer term we are excited about the potential of rail freight services,” said Kevin Chen, Managing Director Air & Sea Logistics South China.

”Many of our customers are requesting high-value added logistics services as new technology companies and hi-tech engineering industries are established in Shenzhen. Through DACHSER Interlocking we are able to integrate freight and logistics services to meet the specific needs of each customer,” he added.

Operating in seven locations in South China, DACHSER offers a holistic and integrated range of transport and logistics services; FCL and LCL ocean freight and domestic and international airfreight through Shenzhen International Airport and Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport are complemented by warehousing and value-added services. In addition, there is increased demand for direct rail freight services from South China to Europe driven by China’s ‘One Belt, One Road’ initiative.
