DACHSER Far East Ltd. is now looking for high caliber candidate for the position of Department Head Business Processes & Organization Asia Pacific.

The position:

  • Define and implement policies and procedures related to a professional operation
  • Define and implement annual APAC Regional BPO (RBPO) budget, and ensures expenditures are within the defined budget
  • Ensure proper staffing in line with approved budget level.
  • Lead the RBPO team for the rollout of Global System Integration (GSI) Othello related projects to ensure the projects are completed
  • Ensure all RBPO team are adequately trained and appropriate skill acquired to perform their support tasks efficiently.
  • Liaise with Global BPO team on upcoming GSI projects and recommend enhancements to improve the manageability and service level of systems.
  • Ensure Othello users are adequately trained with User Survey
  • Organise the collection and maintenance of various metrics on a regular basis.
  • Participate in formal risk analysis
  • Conduct "After Action Reviews" for GSI rollout.
  • Coordinate with IT department to perform capacity planning and performance prediction sessions.

Who are you?

  • Master degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in the specific or related field with at least 5 years’ experience at the senior management level
  • Strong System rollout background
  • Preferred worked in logistics / Shipping industry
  • Experience in operational management is an advantage
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and other languages, especially Mandarin, is definitely a plus
  • Analytical mind-set / way of thinking
  • Accurate and structured working style
  • Ability to lead and guide employees (both direct & dotted line reports)
  • Ability to work with other departments in order to accomplish company goals.
  • Ability to address complaints and resolve problems
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Citrix and Lotus Note
