NEW LEADERS AT DACHSER HUNGARY

The Hungarian LIEGL&DACHSER logistics service provider welcomes new leaders in the team, since in the last couple of months two new colleagues were appointed to important positions. Besides the new General Manager of the Pilisvörösvár branch, the logistics and freight company has a new head of the warehouse branch.
Szabó Péter

Péter Szabó, the new General Manager of LIEGL&DACHSER Pilisvörösvár has been in the logistics sector for more than 18 years. He gained his extensive professional experience – especially in the field of contract logistics – at Kühne + Nagel, DHL, and CEVA Logistics.

In the course of his work, Péter will supervise the development of the Hungarian European Logistics branch. Péter Szabó excellently knows the company, he has all the necessary professional competence to contribute to the development of the company in Hungary. “The success of  LIEGL&DACHSER is based on the enterprising attitude of the branches” – says Szabó. At the company, he considers it his mission to realise a high-quality service for partners in the Hungarian market through the proper management of intelligent logistics services by DACHSER.

Halmschláger Gergely

New operation Manager European Logistics at LIEGL&DACHSER Pilisvörösvár

Gergely Halmschláger was appointed new Operation Manager European Logistics at DACHSER  Pilisvörösvár and is responsible for storage. For him, DACHSER was the first workplace as well, he started as a logistics administrator in 2008. From 2013, he worked as a CHEP project manager until 2016, when – besides his actual position back then – he also took over the position for logistics operation. At the beginning of this year, he took over the task as Operation Manager for logistics and CHEP storage. His long-term goal is to ensure continuous, sustainable operation in a safe and healthy working environment, and to offer high-level and quality services to present and future partners.

Concerning his new position and challenges he says: “At first I felt that the new position is somehow out of my comfort zone, however, the team was not unfamiliar to me because we worked together earlier a lot. I can also say, I grew up to be able to fulfil this position with their help. I became more and more confident and I’m looking forward solving new challenges with my team in the future.” In his free time, he goes fishing and plays football in the Pilisvörösvár UFC team.
