 DACHSER launched its first Air & Sea Logistics branch in Sweden. The DACHSER ASL office is located in Gothenburg. Sweden is the next Scandinavian country, after Denmark and Finland, where the operator has branches serving air and sea freight.
 By 2022, logistics provider DACHSER plans to replace all of its roughly 6,000 pallet trucks used in terminals and warehouses with vehicles powered by energy-saving lithium-ion batteries. That pro-environmental project will cover the whole of Europe, including DACHSER branches in Poland. Thanks to this, the operator will reduce CO2 emissions by 9.6 thousand tons per year.
DACHSER posted substantial growth once again in 2018. The logistics provider increased its consolidated net revenue by 5.5 percent to EUR 5.57 billion. As they did last year, shipment numbers increased, rising by 2.5 percent to 83.7 million; tonnage rose 3.0 percent to 41.3 million metric tons. With 30,609 employees in total, up 1,511 from the preceding year, DACHSER’s workforce reached a record high.
DACHSER Poland has launched a daily connection from Sosnowiec to Padua and Milan. Thanks to the new line, the goods of Polish exporters are now delivered to customers in northern Italy in 48 hours and to the rest of the country in 72 hours.

DACHSER, a global logistics operator, has expanded its transit terminal near Lodz. A new cross-dock warehouse has been opened in Strykow branch, which means an increase in the terminal area there to nearly 4,000 sqm in total. The recently launched facility is also ready to handle chemical products, including hazardous materials. At the same time, the new headquarters of DACHSER Poland is being built in Strykow.
Dachser Poland launched seven additional groupage connections from Poznan to Germany only in the last months. These are direct lines to Frankfurt-am-Main and other locations in Hesse: Erlensee, Kassel and Homberg; also to Bad Salzuflen in North Rhine-Westphalia and to the north of the country - to Stavenhagen and Hamburg. Thanks to this, the Dachser branch in Poznan currently has 22 fixed lines to the western neighbor of Poland.
DACHSER Poland has launched a direct connection from Strykow near Lodz to the Netherlands. As a result, groupage shipments from Polish exporters are delivered within two days to any place in the Netherlands. Yellow and blue trucks with DACHSER logo drive this route on all working days.
DACHSER is investing more than EUR 20 million in an expansion of its existing logistics center in Malsch, near Karlsruhe. Construction work on a new high bay storage facility covering 21,800 square meters and with approx. 43,000 pallet spaces is in full swing. The specially equipped facility is also designed to permit the safe storage of chemical products and hazardous materials such as paints, coatings, and adhesives. The facility will become operational in the first quarter of 2019.

DACHSER Sp. z o.o., a local organization of DACHSER SE, a global logistics operator, is preparing a new location for its Poznań-area branch. In fiscal year 2014, DACHSER generated 5.2% in additional revenue. Dachser Poland has been awarded within its specialized solution DIY-Logistics with the Top Builder 2015 title and statuette. The presentation of the Builder monthly magazine awards took place on the second day of the International Construction and Architecture Fair Budma 2015 in Poznań.
With its move to a new and larger property in Willebroek, Belgium, international logistics provider DACHSER is boosting its presence in the Benelux region. New construction took five months, with the new logistics center launching its operations on October 6th. Construction included a 7,000-square-meter transit terminal with 68 gates and a three-story office building that measures 2,300 square meters.
International logistics provider DACHSER continues to expand its Asia operations, taking over its partner’s shares in three countries. Global logistics service provider DACHSER is making a new investment in Erlensee (Main-Kinzig District of Hesse). The company is erecting a European Food Shipment Hub with a total surface of 70,000 square meters in Landendiebach. The total investment is some 25 million euros.
DACHSER is now doing business in South Korea as DACHSER Korea Inc., effective July 1st. The global logistics provider has maintained a presence in the Republic of Korea (South Korea) since 2006 as MGI & DACHSER Inc. This past December, DACHSER acquired the remaining 50% of the joint venture. Together with the renaming of the company, DACHSER also moved into new offices in Seoul.

On May 30th, DACHSER Ltd in the UK  opened its new integrated logistics centre in Northampton. The new facility occupies a 7.4 hectare site and represents an investment of  EUR 26 million by the company.
DACHSER was the main partner in the greatest trade event in Poland- the Logistics Congress LOGISTICS 2014 which took place on 14-16 May in Poznań. A strong second half-year and the successful integration of the two Spanish acquisitions, Azkar and Transunion, boosted DACHSER’s revenue in 2013. The logistics service provider was able to increase its gross revenue by 13.2 percent, to 4.99 billion euro. When investment income is included, the company exceeded the revenue milestone of five billion euro for first time this past fiscal year.  DACHSER pushed into a new dimension of internationalization also in regard to figures for employees, locations, and shipments.

Logistics provider DACHSER is expanding its presence in Switzerland with the opening of its new site in the Bern region. The international company is enhancing its global operations by establishing its ninth Swiss site that will occupy an area of 12,200 square meters, and create around 40 new jobs in the region.
A little more than ten months after the acquisition by DACHSER, the Spanish air and sea freight forwarder Transunion, S.A., is completing its integration into the network of the global logistics provider. Starting on 1 January 2014, the company will be operating as DACHSER Spain Air & Sea Logistics, S.A.U.

At spoga+gafa (September 8-10, 2013) Cologne this year welcomes “the whole world of the garden“. Cooperation between DACHSER company and the University of Lodz contributed to opening of a new specialisation at the University of Lodz Faculty of Management. The project entitled "InfoGeoLog: Information Technology – Geoinformation – Logistics. Education for Professions of the Future in Response to Employers' Expectations” came second in the competition organized by the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR). The new specialisation will be opened in the academic year 2013/2014, and the recruitment is now in progress.

Kempten, Munich. 20 March 2013. DACHSER closed the 2012 financial year with new record highs in terms of overall revenue and staff numbers. Revenue growth nevertheless slowed to 3.7 percent. DACHSER has set initial growth impulses for 2013 with the acquisitions of the Spanish logistics providers Azkar and Transunion. Including revenues from these acquisitions and expected organic growth, DACHSER aims to surpass the 5-billion-euro revenue threshold for the first time in the current fiscal year.

Effective retroactively from the beginning of the year, the internationally operating logistics provider, DACHSER, has acquired the Spanish air and sea freight forwarder Transunion S. A. subject to approval by the antitrust authorities. The company employs a staff of 235. In addition to nine offices in Spain the company is also represented in Turkey, Argentina, Peru and Mexico.

Effective 15 January 2013 subject to the approval of the anti-trust authorities the internationally operating logistics provider DACHSER is to acquire the Spanish logistics provider, Azkar S.A. DACHSER has held a 10 percent stake in its Iberian logistics partner since 2008.
Kempten/Port Elizabeth, 15 November 2012. DACHSER South Africa, the local organization of the internationally operating logistics provider, recently opened a fourth branch office in Port Elizabeth, extending an established network of South African offices in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town.

In Kladno near Prague, where once steel from the Poldi steelworks was stored, excavators are now digging for DACHSER: the logistics provider is expanding its existing facility with the addition of a new transshipment hall for industrial goods and ambient foodstuffs. At the same time a spacious, four-storey office building is also being built to accommodate DACHSER’s head office in the Czech Republic.
