Critical weather conditions in France and Moscow

Snowfall in France is affecting road transport and the airports in Moscow are under challenging conditions.
Critical weather conditions in France and Moscow

Northern France is on orange alert which is the second-highest warning for risks brought by dangerous weather conditions. Snowfall is expected to reach more than 8 inches and supposed to continue for the next few days.

Even if roads are cleaned up continuously, pick-ups and deliveries might be delayed. As DACHSER colleagues have difficulties reaching the offices, our branches will operate with limited staff until the severe weather conditions alleviate.

Moscow is experiencing the strongest snowfall in 100 years. Due to the heavy and prolonged snow, an increasing number of inbound flights to Sheremetyevo International Airport (SVO) and Moscow Domodedovo Airport (DME) is either cancelled or rerouted.

Please expect delays for shipment deliveries which are routed to / from or via these airports. Contact your local DACHSER representative if you have any questions.
