DACHSER Czech Republic, an international logistics provider, appointed a new Forwarding Manager for its branch DACHSER Kladno. Jaroslav Zelenka took over the position with the aim to further increase the quality of logistic services.

DACHSER Czech Republic, a leading international logistic service provider, sees Petr Kozel, its Managing Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors, resign from his positions. After 12 years with the company and 26 years in the logistics sector, Petr Kozel decided to retire. The Czech Republic has made its mark as Europe’s workshop. Its central location makes the country attractive for industrial companies with significant contract logistics and export requirements. We spoke with Jan Pihar, the new country manager for DACHSER Czech Republic, about how the market is developing. 
In the most recent “Top 100 in Logistics” ranking, logistics provider DACHSER moved up one place in the German market and is now the logistics company with the third-highest revenue. In the segment „landbound groupage“ DACHSER maintains its first position. 
Gigantic timpani drums, a harp or contrabasses. They, too, can be the content of export shipments. And if it is going to a concert of a large orchestra, the musical instruments can fill an entire lorry. DACHSER Czech Republic coordinated such a shipment for the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra, steering a company specialised in logistics for delicate instruments. Eighty musicians went from Prague to Wiesbaden, Germany for a concert and entrusted their instruments to the hands of experienced logistics provider.
