DACHSER Denmark A/S has opened its own national air and sea freight office in Kolding and is now also represented west of the Great Belt. With the new office in Denmark, DACHSER Air & Sea Logistics further strengthens its network in the Nordic region.
Jochen Müller took up the role of Chief Operations Officer (COO) for DACHSER’s Air & Sea Logistics business field on January 1, 2018. He replaces Thomas Reuter, who retired at the end of last year after 39 years at DACHSER. Müller joined DACHSER on October 1, 2016 to prepare for his duties as COO.
Effective immediately, DACHSER becomes majority shareholder of its partner in Ireland, Johnston Logistics Ltd. This allows DACHSER to expand and strengthen its logistics network in northwestern Europe.
At transport logistic, the industry’s leading exhibition, DACHSER is highlighting its expertise in fulfillment and digital networking. The supplier of logistics services invites industry specialists to visit its booth in Hall B6, Booth 101/202 at the Munich Messe fairground.


Off to South East Asia: In Vietnam, globalization is once again gathering speed.
In the latest “Top 100 in Logistics in Europe” study, DACHSER once again takes the top spot in the European groupage transportation segment. And on the “special transports” market (including food logistics), the company rose from seventh to fourth place.

Thomas Reuter, COO Air & Sea Logistics, is retiring at the end of this year after 39 years at DACHSER. He leaves an unmistakable legacy on DACHSER’s world map, as his career path charts the history of internationalization at the logistics service provider.
