DACHSER expands its warehouse capacities in Rottenburg am Neckar
The logistics provider is thus meeting the high demand for warehouse space in the Stuttgart metropolitan region
DACHSER has opened a new warehouse in Rottenburg am Neckar, in addition to its existing warehouse space. As a result, the location in the Ergenzingen-Ost industrial estate is increasing its warehousing capacity to a total of around 46,000 pallet spaces. Construction work on the new facility had begun in February of this year.
The newly built warehouse has 11,600 square meters of storage space and more than 18,000 pallet spaces. The new facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Part of the building can be cooled to meet the needs of the food and pharmaceutical industries. A photovoltaic system will be installed on the roof. DACHSER will use the electricity generated from this in Rottenburg am Neckar to operate the newly built warehouse, among other things.
