DACHSER Hungary celebrates its 25th anniversary
DACHSER founded its first country organziation in Eastern Europe in Hungary in 1999 – at that time as a joint venture under the name of LIEGL & DACHSER – seeing development potential in the country. The expectations have been confirmed: in the last decades, the number of employees has increased to around 400, the annual net sales amounted to EUR 107 million in 2023 and almost the entire DACHSER service portfolio is available at the 7 locations in Hungary, including road, air and sea transport, food logistics and contract logistics.

DACHSER in the Netherlands puts new warehouse into operation
DACHSER has put a new warehouse into operation at its Dutch site in Waddinxveen near Rotterdam. With space for 10,000 pallets, the new 6,900 square meter storage facility increases the site's capacity to a total of 55,000 pallet spaces.

DACHSER Memmingen receives the "JobErfolg 2024" award for employing people with disabilities and chronic illnesses
The DACHSER Allgäu Logistics Center in Memmingen has received the "JobErfolg - People with disabilities in the workplace" award from the Bavarian State Minister for Family, Labor and Social Affairs, Ulrike Scharf. The award in the "Private Sector" category recognizes outstanding commitment to the employment of chronically ill people and people with disabilities. DACHSER in Memmingen, for example, is committed to ensuring that employees with disabilities can participate in working life with individually flexible working hours, advice and support as well as technical aids such as passive exoskeletons for physical support.
