Wilhelm Rehm – Member of the Executive Board of ZF Friedrichshafen AG; Jochen Müller – COO Air & Sea Logistics, DACHSER; Hubert Diepolder – Key Account Management, DACHSER; Rainer Wiedmann – Purchasing of Non-Production Materials, ZF Group

DACHSER Air & Sea Logistics took over all the air freight volume between Europe, the U.S., South America, Mexico, South Africa, and the Middle East for ZF Friedrichshafen, the world’s second-largest automotive supplier. Now, Jochen Müller, COO Air & Sea Logistics, and Hubert Diepolder, Key Account Management, accepted the ZF Supplier Award for Non-Production Material on behalf of DACHSER.

High reliability and proactive problem-solving approach

In conferring the award, ZF honored its logistics partner for its “high reliability and proactive problem-solving approach,” for “excellent communication and superlative reporting,” for its “strong presence in the global arena,” and for “taking the initiative on improvements / cost reduction.”
“This honor from one of our customers was possible only with the support of all participating employees at the country organizations involved,” emphasizes Müller. DACHSER’s business with ZF will now be steadily expanded upon this basis. Following this success with air freight, Diepolder reports that DACHSER has already received a contract from ZF for a significant volume of sea freight.
