DACHSER, myclimate, and terre des hommes agree on a climate action program
DACHSER, the climate protection organization myclimate, and the children’s rights organization terre des hommes have agreed to enter into a long-term collaboration. Together, the international logistics provider and the nonprofit organizations will launch new climate action projects worldwide and expand existing initiatives. An agreement to this effect was signed in December 2023.

DACHSER uses e-trucks across national borders
For the first time, DACHSER is launching a fully electric truck across national borders. An eActros from Mercedes-Benz recently started driving five times a week from the Hof logistics center to the branch in Kladno near Prague, around 200 kilometers away, and back again.
Start of regular operations: first full-electric long-distance swap body truck
DACHSER recently put its first e-truck into regular operations on a long-distance route. A Volvo FH Electric with two swap bodies is on the road for DACHSER in the Czech Republic. Altogether, the truck and its trailers have a total weight of 44 metric tons and a range of around 300 kilometers when in service.
DACHSER tests emission-free refrigerated truck trailers
The first four battery-electric refrigerated truck trailers have been put into test operation into the DACHSER network in Erlensee, Hamburg and Langenau. The aim is to gain important experience with the still evolving technology of the eTrailers from the manufacturer Krone in everyday logistics.

DACHSER brings zero-emission deliveries to downtown Hamburg
DACHSER is ushering in a new era in city logistics by bringing its sustainable DACHSER Emission-Free Delivery concept to Hamburg. The logistics provider began zero-local-emission deliveries of non-refrigerated shipments to downtown recipients in August.

Strides on a long road

DACHSER announces twelve more zero-emission delivery areas in Europe
DACHSER is significantly expanding its emission-free delivery of non-chilled groupage shipments to defined downtown areas. By the end of 2025, the logistics provider plans to launch DACHSER Emission-Free Delivery in twelve more European cities: Amsterdam, Barcelona, Dublin, Hamburg, Cologne, London, Malaga, Rotterdam, Stockholm, Toulouse, Warsaw, and Vienna. In addition, the company will expand its existing zero-emission delivery area in Paris.
DACHSER puts first electric trucks into operation in the Netherlands
DACHSER Netherlands is putting its first e-trucks into operation – an important step on the road to zero-emission deliveries in the future "Zero Emissions Zones" for urban logistics (ZES zones) in the Netherlands, which will be introduced there on January 1, 2025.
First hydrogen truck in practical use at Dachser
During the day, the Hyundai Xcient Fuel Cell is used for local transport in Magdeburg; at night, it drives to the Dachser branch in Berlin-Schönefeld.
Premiere for battery-electric yard vehicles
The first fully electric swap body carrier has recently been in operation at DACHSER's Danish branch in Hvidovre near Copenhagen. More of these vehicles are to follow soon for other branches.
