DACHSER acquires food logistics company Müller, securing the leading food distribution network in the Netherlands.
DACHSER is planning zero-emission delivery areas in ten more cities. The focus is primarily on European metropolitan regions, where DACHSER is represented by its own branches in the European Logistics business unit.

Since January 1, 2021, DACHSER has been a member of the German Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association (DWV), an interest group that has been promoting the rapid market introduction of hydrogen as an energy carrier and fuel cell technology since 1996.

DACHSER sets up an Executive Board for the future. Future Executive Board team around Burkhard Eling takes over from January 1, 2021; Bernhard Simon and Michael Schilling move to Supervisory Board in 2021.
2018
Following DACHSER's acquisition of 100% of the Italian food logistics company Papp Italia in 2017, the acquisition is now also reflected in the name: with immediate effect, the branch in Verona in northern Italy will operate under the name DACHSER Italy Food Logistics S.R.L.
Good prospects for city centers plagued by exhaust fumes and traffic jams: In Stuttgart, DACHSER has set up an emission-free delivery area for general cargo shipments for the first time.
2017
DACHSER Food Logistics acquires all the shares of Italian food logistics company Papp Italia, which specializes in the warehousing and distribution of refrigerated foods in Italy.
The Iberian subsidiary Azkar is fully integrated into the European road freight network. The subsidiaries now operate under the company names DACHSER Spain and DACHSER Portugal.
DACHSER acquires a majority share in its Irish partner Johnston Logistics. With these new subsidiaries, DACHSER expands its logistics network in northwest Europe.
DACHSER establishes the Enterprise Lab at Fraunhofer IML. The DACHSER Enterprise Lab complements DACHSER's own research and development capacities with important competencies and flexible access to specialists.
2015
DACHSER expands its social engagement with terre des hommes, with further project regions in India, Nepal, Brazil and Namibia, and commits to investing more than 1.1 million euros by 2020.
DACHSER sets up its own overland transport services organization in Turkey. The new branch in Istanbul is integrated into the European general cargo network via DACHSER Cargoplus.
DACHSER changes its legal form to a Societas Europaea (SE), thus laying the foundation for the future. There are no plans to take the family-owned enterprise public.
DACHSER is stepping up its initiative for professional drivers and is implementing a holistic concept for promoting professional drivers with DACHSER Service and Ausbildungs GmbH.

DACHSER further expands its presence in Asia. The family-owned enterprise has now acquired 100% of its subsidiaries in India and Thailand and has a majority shareholding in its Bangladesh operation.
DACHSER establishes a Euro hub for food logistics in Erlensee (Hesse).
Since July 1, DACHSER has been trading under the name of DACHSER Korea Inc. In 2013, DACHSER had acquired the remaining 50% of the MGI & DACHSER Inc. joint venture.
On June 1 2014, DACHSER enters the Finnish overland transport market by setting up a joint venture under the name of DACHSER Finland Oy.

DACHSER establishes an Indonesian joint venture (PT DACHSER Indonesia) , thus building on its strategy for global expansion in the air and sea logistics sector.
DACHSER acquires a majority share in Oy Waco Logistics Finland, one of the leading air and sea freight forwarders in the country, with offices spanning the entire territory of the “land of a thousand lakes”.
Twelve European food logistics providers establish the European Food Network: This association of fixed partners has since set an example as a network with seamless operations governed by unified standards.
DACHSER acquires the Iberian logistics services provider Azkar, as well as the air and sea freight company Transunion, which also has operations in Turkey, Argentina, Peru and Mexico.

DACHSER expands its European network with the acquisition of the logistics company JA LEACH Transport Ltd. in Rochdale, Great Britain.

DACHSER expands its intercontinental network in Bangladesh and Thailand, and fully acquires the country organization in China.

DACHSER acquires the remaining 50% of shares in the AFL DACHSER joint venture established in 1996, thus consolidating its position in the strategically-important Indian market.

DACHSER establishes numerous new air and sea freight locations for international transport in China, Hungary, Mexico and the USA.
The Logimasters and DACHSER joint venture is established in Brazil with the local Brazilian logistics company Logimasters.
DACHSER strengthens its network in the Czech Republic with the acquisition of the logistics company E.S.T.
2005
DACHSER acquires the Haugsted Group which operates in Denmark, Sweden and Norway, thus expanding its network in northern Europe.
DACHSER starts its social engagement with the international children’s aid organization terre des hommes with a social project in Uttar Pradesh, India. The aim is to provide children with school education, to improve their career opportunities and to supply schools with material and sanitary equipment.

DACHSER is setting up a European hub (Eurohub) in Überherrn in Saarland.
