“China is an important market for the global wine and spirits industry, and the continued development of trade between China, the entire Asia-Pacific region and Europe creates new opportunities for businesses across the sector,” says Roman Mueller, Managing Director Air & Sea Logistics Asia Pacific at DACHSER. “With more than 20 years of experience in wine and spirits logistics, DACHSER supports customers with tailored solutions across the entire supply chain. ProWine Shanghai provides an excellent opportunity to strengthen our dialogue with customers and industry partners and to demonstrate how we address the specific requirements of the sector.”

Wine and spirits logistics also form part of DACHSER’s broader approach to international food logistics. By integrating its European Road Logistics network with Air & Sea Logistics, customs expertise and Contract Logistics, DACHSER is able to provide reliable and scalable end-to-end solutions for international food supply chains.

Streamlining supply chains from wineries to key markets

As a part of this approach, DACHSER connects wine and spirits producers in Europe with key markets across the Asia-Pacific region, where DACHSER is present with more than 40 locations. In China alone, DACHSER operates out of 18 locations, covering key ports and economic hubs. Services support customers across the entire supply chain, from collection at the winery and consolidation in Europe to international transport and final delivery.

DACHSER’s “buyers’ consolidation” solution enables customers to efficiently collect orders from multiple suppliers across one or several European countries. Several smaller shipments can be bundled in Europe, prepared for export and shipped together to overseas markets, including the Asia-Pacific region. Using DACHSER’s own temperature-controlled road network and container freight stations, shipments are consolidated into a single container. Combined with DACHSER’s expertise in customs, compliance and documentation, this integrated solution ensures smooth coordination and greater efficiency throughout the export process between Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.

At ProWine Shanghai 2026, DACHSER will showcase how its integrated logistics capabilities help wine and spirits businesses manage international supply chains and connect suppliers with key markets. Visitors can meet DACHSER’s wine and spirits logistics experts at booth W5D60 in hall W5 to discuss their supply chain requirements and explore tailored solutions.
